Refund policy

Last Updated: 22 August 2026

This policy applies to services provided by Guidly Travel Ltd.

1. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is required before Guidly Travel begins providing the agreed service.

Customers should review the agreed service details, Terms & Conditions and this policy before making payment.

2. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you wish to cancel your service before work has started, please contact us as soon as possible.

Any cancellation or refund entitlement will be handled in accordance with the agreed terms and your applicable statutory consumer rights.

3. Cancellation After Work Has Started

Once Guidly Travel has started providing the agreed service, the service fee is normally non-refundable if you change your mind, decide not to continue, or no longer require the service.

This is subject to any cancellation or refund rights that you are entitled to under applicable UK law.

Where an applicable statutory cancellation period exists and you have expressly requested that we begin providing the service during that period, any amount payable following a valid statutory cancellation will be determined in accordance with applicable law.

4. Completed Services

Where a service has been fully performed during an applicable statutory cancellation period following any request and acknowledgement required by law, the statutory cancellation right may end as permitted by law.

5. Exceptional or Unavoidable Circumstances

If you are unable to continue with your service because of exceptional or unavoidable circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where no statutory refund is due, Guidly Travel may, at its discretion and where appropriate, offer:

  • rescheduling to another suitable date;
  • postponement of the service; or
  • credit towards an eligible future Guidly Travel service.

Any rescheduling, postponement or credit is subject to availability and any conditions communicated by Guidly Travel.

Credit has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a cash refund unless a refund is otherwise required by law.

6. Third-Party Payments

Where Guidly Travel makes an agreed payment on your behalf to a third party, including an airline, hotel, transport provider, attraction, visa application centre, embassy/consulate or other travel-service provider, that payment may be subject to the third party's own cancellation, amendment and refund conditions.

Any refund available from a third-party supplier will therefore depend on the applicable supplier terms and your statutory rights.

7. Group Travel

Individual group trips may have their own cancellation, amendment and refund conditions, which will be communicated before the customer becomes bound by the booking.

Where an arrangement is subject to mandatory package-travel or other consumer-protection legislation, those statutory rights will apply and take priority over any conflicting provision in this general policy.

8. Changes Requested by the Customer

Requests to change dates, destinations, services or other agreed arrangements are subject to availability.

Additional charges may apply where the change results in additional work or third-party costs. Any applicable charge will be communicated before the change is confirmed.

9. If Guidly Travel Cannot Provide the Service

If Guidly Travel cancels or cannot provide an agreed service, we will deal with the matter in accordance with the agreed contract and applicable UK law.

Depending on the circumstances and the customer's legal rights, this may include an alternative arrangement, rescheduling, credit or refund where legally required.

11. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or replaces any cancellation, refund or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable UK law.
